What You Need to Get Started

  • A high school diploma or the equivalent
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • The time and energy to dedicate to class.
  • Financing.
  • Complete the process below.
Our program is designed for people who are serious about becoming Licensed Massage Therapists in West Virginia. If you will need to be licensed in a different state, please contact us and we will help you gather the information you need.
Schedule a Visit

Step 1 - Visit and Interview

Join us for an on-site interview to help both you and the school staff get a sense of how good a fit our massage school is for your life and goals. If you like, we can schedule a time for you to observe in class in progress as well.

Step 2 - Complete Application

Formally express your intention to join us in our mission and step into the massage therapy profession by completing our brief application. Be prepared to write a short essay; We really want to get to know you! You'll be able to indicate which start dates and times of day work the best for you so we can contact you when we have a cohort that meets your needs.

Step 3 - Join Us

Accepted students for each cohort will recieve an invitation to spend time together with us and each other at the school. Get to know your classmates and start to see your dreams becoming reality. You can sign a contract that day or take a few days to think it over.

To Start March 9, 2026

  • Now through January 22, 2026:
    Applications are open. Contracts and deposits accepted. Applications are online through our website.
  • November 26, 2025 at 2pm:
    On-site information session to meet staff, ask questions, and learn more about being a student at HFSM.
  • January 19, 2026 at 1pm:
    Join us for Accepted Students’ Day! This is a sample class day where you get to meet your future classmates and either pick up your books and uniforms if you’re already committed, or use the day to get a sense of whether massage school is right for you right now, if you’re still undecided.
  • January 22, 2026:
    Contracts and deposits due for first round of admissions.
  • March 8, 2026:
    Balance (or initial payment for students on a payment plan) due.
  • March 9, 2026:
    Your first day of classes!

To Start June 1, 2026

  • Now through April 16, 2026:

  • February 17, 2026 at 3pm:
